This is a game I made in 12 weeks to prototype my idea of a 2D physics-based racer for my College Year 2 Final Major Project (fmp). I mostly focused on designing the mechanics and the levels along with creating a games design document for this project.

This project was mostly inspired by Hill Climb Racing, however I also took some inspiration from the Earn To Die series and a lot more "hidden" games I found whilst researching the genre.

Controls:

On PC use the A key to reverse/brake and use the D key to accelerate. You can also pause the game using the ESC key.


- Explore rough hill climbing environments and race through hidden tunnels to collect bonus coins.



- Race through each level to reach the end and unlock more levels to explore.


- Smash through wooden boxes and structures and pull off daring stunts.



- Collect coins throughout the levels to upgrade your vehicles engine, gearbox and aero and reach further distances faster.
